About the Role As a Civil Carpenter, you will play a key role in the construction of critical infrastructure works. Duties will include:
- Construction and installation of formwork for concrete structures
- Building and dismantling boxing systems
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Concrete preparation, placement, and finishing support
- Installation of civil structures including retaining walls, foundations, culverts, and other infrastructure components
- Assisting with reinforcing steel placement and concrete pours
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship on site
- Proven experience as a Civil Carpenter within infrastructure or civil construction projects
- Strong formwork and concrete construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious attitude
- Current Site Safe preferred
- Own transport and ability to get to site daily
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Fixed Term Contract for the duration of the project
- 18+ months of consistent work
