Formwork Carpenter
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Formwork Carpenter with a strong background in civil and structural work to join our team in Christchurch Central. 

Location: Christchurch Central
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $32 – $36 per hour (depending on experience), paid weekly

What you’ll be doing:

• Constructing, assembling, and installing formwork for a range of civil and structural concrete projects
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications with a high level of accuracy
• Working on foundations, retaining walls, slabs, columns, and large-scale structural elements
• Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials to precise specifications
• Stripping and repairing formwork as required
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlines
• Collaborating with site teams to keep projects running smoothly
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment on site

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter in civil and structural environments
• Level 4 BCITO qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent)
• Strong ability to read and work from plans independently
• Full driver’s licence
• Own tools to carry out formwork tasks
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to handle demanding site work
• Willingness to travel for project work when required
• Site Safe (preferred but not essential)
