About the Role You'll be working alongside qualified builders, assisting with all aspects of construction while helping keep projects running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting carpenters with framing, cladding, and finishing work
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing building materials
- Using a variety of hand and power tools safely
- Site preparation, clean-up, and material handling
- Assisting with formwork, boxing, and general construction tasks
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Following plans and taking direction from supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Previous experience as a Builder's Labourer or in general construction
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work well within a team and take instruction
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
