What you'll be doing
- Undertake biosecurity fumigation duties across a variety of divisions and locations
- Carry out heat treatment, timber, log, container, recapture and pest management work
- Coordinate and complete fumigation work safely and efficiently
- Work alongside the team and assist with operational duties as required
- Learn specialist fumigation procedures across shipping schedules, silos and urban structures
- Follow strict hazardous substance, safety and biosecurity compliance procedures
- Complete ongoing training to build your skills and industry knowledge
- Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights and weekends when required
- Must be clean shaven to ensure a proper respirator seal
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Full Class 1 driver's licence is essential
- Clean Ministry of Justice check
- High level of physical fitness with the ability to lift and work in enclosed or elevated spaces
- Flexible and reliable with working hours
- Positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
