Assistant Benchtop Installer – Taupō
Got strength, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for an Assistant Benchtop Installer to join a busy Taupō-based team installing premium stone benchtops across the region.
This is a physically demanding role working alongside experienced installers delivering and fitting high-quality stone benchtops in residential and commercial properties. Stone benchtops are heavy, so physical fitness and a strong work ethic are essential. You'll also be involved in silicone finishing work, making attention to detail a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the transport, lifting, and installation of stone benchtops
- Preparing websites and supporting lead installers
- Applying silicone and completing finishing work to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly for silicone finishing and final presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Full driver's licence preferred
- Previous construction, labouring, joinery, or installation experience is an advantage but not essential
- Full-time, ongoing employment
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
