Tradestaff Wellington are looking for ASME IX Welder for a client that has great contract with Tier 1 Clients on Critical Projects.
Stainless steel department provides a carbon-free environment – essential for the fabrication of stainless steel and exotic alloys including titanium. Projects range from general lightweight stainless steel to piping and heavy plate fabrication.Manufacture a wide range of components, equipment and piping for clients using a diverse range of materials from austenitic stainless steels to super duplexes. Specialise in the manufacture of pipework to food grade and ASME Standards, storage tanks to AS1692 and API650 Standards.

Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 3 years+ Fabrication or Sheet metal work
- NZ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering - General (Level 4) or extensive sheet metal experience
- Competent TIG Welder (GTAW)
- Full Drivers Licence (Class 1)
- Forklift (F Endorsed) licence (we can help you gain this)
- Interpreting mechanical drawings
- Stainless Steel fabrication and welding (TIG & MIG)
- General fitting and machining
