We’re on the lookout for skilled Welder, Fitter & Assemblers to join a growing team in Matamata. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in building high-quality products, this is a great opportunity to be part of a business with an exciting future.

Location: Matamata, Waikato
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour (paid weekly)
What you’ll be doing:

• Fabricating, welding, fitting, and assembling components
• Working across steel and aluminium using MIG and TIG welding
• Building and fitting out vehicles to precise customer specifications
• Assisting with painting and finishing work where required
• Ensuring all work meets high quality and safety standards

What we’re looking for:

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience (steel and aluminium)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic vehicle knowledge
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Trade qualification (Fitter Welder / Boilermaker) preferred
• Experience in service vehicle assembly is a bonus
• Backgrounds in welding, fitting, panel beating, boat building, or painting advantageous
• Good communication skills and reliable work ethic
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
• Strong commitment to health & safety and a drug-free workplace
