We are seeking an experienced Accounts, Payroll & Pricing Assistant to support a busy construction business based in Hillsborough. This is a casual position, offering consistent part-time hours, with the potential for longer-term work for the right person (not guaranteed). The role is expected to start in late April.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be supporting accounts, payroll, pricing, and general office functions.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts, Payroll & Pricing Assistant to support a busy construction business based in Hillsborough. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be supporting accounts, payroll, pricing, and general office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering payable invoices into WorkflowMax / Xero, ensuring accuracy against quotes
- Assisting with invoicing to support the Accounts Manager
- Collating sub-trade and labour pricing alongside the Contracts Manager
- Entering quotes into WorkflowMax and confirming jobs
- Supporting the Accounts and Pricing teams
- Weekly payroll support
- Reception duties and client liaison
- Electronic filing and general administration
- Event coordination
- Health & Safety administration (including SSSP coordination)
- Ordering and distributing staff clothing
- Ordering stationery and general office supplies
- Assisting with a variety of other administrative tasks as required
- Proven experience using WorkflowMax (essential)
- Working knowledge of Xero and basic Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- A proactive and reliable team player
- Casual contract with consistent hours (10am – 4pm, 30 hours per week)
- Competitive hourly rate of $30 – $34 per hour
