Site Safe

Site Safe New Zealand is dedicated to reducing deaths and injuries in the construction industry.

Tradestaff Training supports the promotion and the improvements in the health and safety practices of the construction industry as well as supporting Site Safe's mission which is to substantially reduce deaths and injuries on construction sites.

Working with you to make your sites safe.

Injuries and deaths in the construction industry sectors are costly, not just in dollar terms, but also because of the human suffering they cause.

The fragmented nature of the construction industry and its highly competitive environment are just two of the reasons why injury prevention requires industry wide co-ordination.

Site Safe New Zealand undertakes the research, development and co-ordination of health and safety activities designed and targeted at the construction industry. These activities have the specific aim of reducing construction site injuries and deaths.
The government sees this initiative from within industry, as a role-model for other high risk industries to follow.
Site Safe New Zealand has a four step plan for construction safety:

  • Provide industry leadership in health and safety;
  • Provide nationwide health and safety training;
  • Promote best practice and a safety culture in the industry;
  • Work with Government to create incentives for industry compliance and be the industry's health and safety voice.

Tradestaff Training is proud to be selected as a Registered Site Safe training provider to the construction industry. This appointment is based on our extensive knowledge of workplace health and safety and relevant legislation, as well as our WSMP tertiary level standard.
